I have some questions for all the people sending me emails about Chrisjenna Moore

 

I received this tip earlier today. I did my own search on the California Secretary of State website. The tip checked out but I have questions for all of you emailing me about Chrisjenna Moore.

1. What exactly do you want me to do, even with this tip that checked out. I do not have authority to do anything other than publish it.

2. In addition to sending me the tip, why are you not informing any authority or law enforcement agency?

3.What is Shannon doing for himself? All these people are contacting me for him without realizing that HCSO is still investigating. No criminal charges have been filed against Shannon. He has not made a statement other than the first time I reached out to him.

4. I don't mind valid information about Jenna Moore and this tip about Kilby should be investigated. If you don't feel Fortuna City Council or HCSO is listening, then cc me on an email alerting them so I can follow up. 

I am not interested in people's personal issues with Chrisjenna Moore or whatever drama has been going on between you and her.

There is other news besides Shannon Miranda and Chrisjenna Moore. Law enforcement get paid, DA gets paid, lawyers get paid. I am  Shannon Miranda's advocate or his lawyer. 

Not a single one of you has ever invested or contributed to the work I do or towards my expenses for 12 years. With these constant emails, it costs me money, time and takes a toll on my health. What irks me constantly and for a while now is that people are self absorbed and don't care that I am exhausted and being constantly attacked, mostly anonymously,  because I cover news the other local media ignores. I listen instead of your own elected officials and authorities who get paid to do what you think is my job.

Have any of you thanked my advertisers? Have any of you done any small gesture of gratitude for me without expecting something in return?It is very hard to make a living in Humboldt doing what I do. Shannon and ChrisJenna Moore are fine. They can afford lawyers. They have steady income coming in and so does other local media. None of you are willing to invest in me, stand up for me and yet keep expecting me to fix issues that have plagued Humboldt and Fortuna for decades. That is not my job.

This constant nonsense of Shannon vs Jenna since last week keeps me from working on other news. It keeps me from making money. It keeps me from the few minutes of rest I need. Most of us who have lives are not interested in "The Days of Fortuna Lives featuring Shannon Miranda and Jenna Moore" reality show and this pro or anti Shannon contingent is not the Sharks and the Jets of Humboldt.

There are a lot of people who like Shannon and don't like "Jenna " and vice versa. That could be said about a number of people in Humboldt County.

I am trying to wait for HCSO to do their investigation which is the proper procedure. Then, if they forward a report to the DA to see charges are filed. I want to cover this fairly, regardless of what I think about anyone involved in this Fortuna 2026 soap opera. 

If you want to send me valid tips about Jenna or Shannon; that is fine but also contact the appropriate authorities. Respect my time and don't take advantage of me.

I already explained anonymity in another post. I am not anyone's savior. I don't see Esq by my name although I know law better than some local lawyers. I am not Sheriff John. Just someone who has always focused on local news and am trusted by the community. 

With technology, I could cover courts or news anywhere without all this hassle and make money. More people from out of the area support and stand up for me and all I did is something once they appreciated.
