The redacted email refers to a writ of mandate to be filed in March 2026. No Humboldt Superior Court case is listed.
I am not sure who will respond on a weekend but I have contacted Mr. Jeff Slack and Geoff Wills.
It probably is about the billboard permits but I don't want to guess. If the County of Humboldt wouldn't wait to post the agenda until the end of the day on Friday or Saturday morning, this would be easy to check yesterday when the Courthouse is open. Anything to delay transparency is Humboldt.
5/11/26: Haven't heard back from anyone but I searched Humboldt Superior Court and nothing has been filed that comes up for Wills or Allpoints and I am not going through 200 listings for County of Humboldt small claims and child support cases.
The Humboldt County BOS agenda when I checked it Saturday May 9 was different than what appears on May 11. You know I would have reported on this claim of damages.
