Today, at trial confirmation for statutory rape suspect Josalyn Spagel, after Ms. Kristiana Wright declares doubt regarding her client's competence and waived Spagel's presence for today's court hearing; Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran suspended criminal proceedings and appointed Dr. Lamers to evaluate Spagel. Jury trial scheduled for 5/18 was vacated. Dr. Lamer's report is due 5/28/26.
