The March 15 post has an update where Nye's supervised release was terminated by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Alleged victim in the Eureka Police Department case is Antone Connich.
On 5/7/26, Nye had a preliminary hearing in the EPD case. He was held to answer by Judge Steven Steward as charged for all counts except Count 1 for a reduced charge. Arraignment on information is on 5/21.

I don't know if Deputy DA Candace Myers is the prosecutor for this case since there are Deputy DAs who left; others on leave; some in trial and colleagues are handling several cases. Deputy Conflict Counsel David Nims is Nye's attorney.
