City of Eureka gets judgement and lien against Fusion Smoke and Glass

 

I was the first one to report on City of Eureka filed a lawsuit against Fusion Smoke and Glass to  "enjoin the unlicensed and unlawful commercial cannabis activity" at 2228 4th street.

There are court documents and details and updates I have been adding to the July 15, 2025 post. 

The dismissal hearing scheduled for 4/27 was scheduled after a settlement of the case was filed on 4/1/26 by the City of Eureka. The 4/27 hearing is now listed as "off calendar."

A judgement signed by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Timothy Canning for the City of Eureka on 4/8/26 was filed on April 9, 2026. Total amount owed to secure the lien is $5,000.

Amount listed in the notice of lien is $72, 356,00.

Hakimullah Wafa of Highlands, California is listed as debtor. Hina Ahmed of Arcata and Fusion Smoke and Glass of Eureka are listed on the second page with driver's license and social security number unknown.

On 4/22/26, a notice of entry and judgement and lien was filed by City of Eureka. Also filed was  an abstract of judgement with an additional name; Malik Mehboob.

Mr. Robert Black and Mr. Greg Holtz both filed paperwork for the City of Eureka. Mr. Dustin Owens represents Fusion Smoke and Glass.
