Former employee sued North Coast Co Op, there is a settlement, dismissal hearing scheduled for July

On 4/27, I saw trial setting 2025 lawsuit filed by Elias Ruiz against North Coast Cooperative, Inc. The complaint was for wrongful termination, disability discrimination, retaliation. 

A dismissal hearing is scheduled for 7/31/26 but in covering Humboldt Superior Court now daily and regularly, I know it is not final just because a future date is scheduled.

I have included court minutes from 4/27/26, the first and last page of the original complaint, some exhibits from State of California's Civil Rights Department. The attorneys are listed in the minutes. Of course Ruiz had to be represented by a law firm from Irvine.

I have covered lawsuits about Eureka Natural Foods. I was very disappointed to see a lawsuit about the North Coast Co Op.
