It took a Humboldt jury less than a hour for a $1,750,000 verdict which is the exact amount of damages the plaintiff's lawyer presented during closing argument

On February 13, I did a post about LA lawyer Mr. Russell Frandsen getting  $1,750,000 in Humboldt Superior Court.

Mr. Frandsen represented plaintiff Monica Kamin.

"The jurors began deliberation around 11:00 AM. They had reached a verdict before noon. After the trial, we had conversations with several jurors." Mr. Frandsen told me.

"In the jury room, the jurors reviewed all the judge's jury instructions. Then they reviewed the exhibits. I had displayed the exhibits on a screen with a projector, pointing out the very text messages that supported Monica Kamin's claims, including the text messages quoted in the trial memorandum. One of the jurors was an accountant. She said she wanted to check the numbers that I had presented during closing argument. She checked the numbers and came up with the exact amount that I had indicated to the jurors should be the damages. After the jurors had reviewed the jury instructions and exhibits, and had confirmed the amount of the damages, they were ready to deliver their verdict. "

I do have the trial memorandum. However, the February 9, 2026  court document in the last post will be sufficient for most readers.
