I have written about lawsuits involving former Humboldt Superior Court CEOS, lawsuits involving judges, attorneys and employees of Humboldt Superior Court and the latest one is on local attorney Ken Bareilles.
On Monday, there was a hearing scheduled in the 2025 breach of contract lawsuit filed on 7/7/25 by Creditors Adjustment Bureau, Inc against Ken Bareilles regarding insurance premiums for his trucking business. Creditors Adjustment Bureau, Inc is represented by Sherman Oaks lawyer Mr. George Vatche Aposhian. The parties are close to a settlement.
There is a Case Management Conference scheduled for 4/17/26.
I have known Ken and his family for years before I started this blog, I have been to his house once for Thanksgiving dinner. I will cover his lawsuit just like anyone else I don't know because it is news.
I mentioned this case to him as well as his missing the hearing in a civil case involving Ray Christie. That was on Friday when most of the day, Mr. Bareilles was busy with the Tselin Lincoln and William Warren arraignment until he was relieved from that case.
Mr. Bareilles mentioned to me that he was taking on court appointments and not doing any logging, just law now and in front of several people said it was due to financial reasons.
Ken has land, his own home, he is a local, a lawyer and even he is feeling the pinch of the high cost of everything and lack of private opportunities in this non existent economy.
It has been yet another extremely busy week and me working through the weekend to update an additional 20 plus cases from last week because every single day is busy covering and reporting on an average of 20 cases per day. Just because you don't see a new post does not mean I am not covering, spending time or updating cases.Monday starts another week of rinse and repeat so I am not going to summarize the case.
I have provided court records, court documents and 3/16 court minutes you can read. If you prefer a summary and cliff notes on cases and posts; sign up for a subscription or contribute financially for my time and your convenience.
