"Peeping tom" and indecent exposure Victor Phetsomphou remanded in court yesterday

I have been the only one covering three of indecent exposure and criminal invasion of privacy suspect Victor Anakin Phetsomphou's cases and arrests.

He had preliminary hearings, a motion to continue, a motion to compel and an arraignment scheduled yesterday morning and was remanded into custody.

Deputy DA Brandon Boozari requested remand. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum granted the request. Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian is Phetsomphou's attorney.

In his two 2021 cases, OR bail on 3/13; 3/20 setting of preliminary hearing and motion to compel discovery was continued by defense to 3/20. Bail is $110,000 in one 2021 case and $50,000 in the other 2021 case. In his 2026 case, OR bail on 3/13; trial confirmation on 3/20 and jury trial on 4/6.

3/13/26: Phetsomphou was granted supervised release by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. On 3/20, in CR2102520, there is a hearing on the motion to compel discovery; preliminary hearing on 5/22. In CR2102511, pre trial on 3/20; preliminary hearing on 5/22.  CR2600480 is trailing both these cases.

3/20/26: In CR2102520, motion to compel discovery continued to 4/1; DA working on getting discovery.

4/1/26: All of Phetsomphou's cases continued to 5/6. For now 5/22 date remains as scheduled.
