Trena Miller arrested for Medi-Cal Fraud and insurance fraud

 

46 year old Trena Michelle Miller was arrested by HCSO on a foreign warrant on 3/19/26 for WI14107(a) Medi-Cal Fraud and PC 550(a)(5) insurance fraud. Miller posted bond.

Since Miller posted bond and is out of custody, who knows when and if charges will be filed and it is harder to track information when someone is no longer at the jail. A foreign warrant usually means it is not a Humboldt agency. 

**A reader just messaged me asking if I was going to cover the case and claimed Miller is a Danco employee. I could not find any evidence whether Miller is still a Danco employee other than this Facebook post, a google search listing her and another search a Facebook. Just like the Boycott Danco Facebook post, the reader who sent me the tip misspelled the first name.**

It is a weekend. 

I am still waiting for a response from HCSO from Thursday.  Will I follow up? Yes. If this arrest is incorrectly identifying someone then that needs to be determined. If it is news and just a misspelling of the first name; then it needs to be reported.

My schedule is very busy and so is everyone else I can contact to verify already and I have already explained the challenges.

Danco has no email addresses listed on the website. Again, it is a weekend and contacting Danco over the weekend has the same issues with others. I will email Danco on Monday.

No charges have been filed. This isn't a Humboldt County warrant. People on Facebook jumping to conclusions that her arrest has anything to do with her employment Danco are speculating without any evidence to back such claims. I am not a fan of Danco and have reported on Danco more than once from court records.

Vague tips without proper information or evidence make it less likely that I will or can. In this case, the jail report was available. Sometimes peole send tips months after the original arrest when jail logs are no longer online for those dates.  People need to email me at the contact information and email provided, not on messenger or Facebook. If you use that option, there is no guarantee, I will get the message or respond.
