LA lawyer gets approximately $1,750,000 after a Humboldt jury verdict this Tuesday

I had been paying attention to this trial which concluded this Tuesday in Humboldt Superior Court. Mr. Russell Frandsen represents plaintiff Monica Kamin. I have already contacted him and will be adding remarks to this post. I have already spoken with lawyers from LA and thank the lawyer who helped me in reaching out to Mr. Frandsen.

Mr. David Carman represents Brett Holt. The case is Kamin vs to8 LLC. Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge John Feeney was assigned to the trial after both Humboldt Superior Court Assistant Presiding Judge Timothy Canning & Humboldt Superior Court Judge April Van Dyke were disqualified, 

This is a complex case and a transfer from Orange County. There was a civil appeal before the 2026 trial. Several documents are not available in Humboldt e court. Court minutes are not available from this week and were still not in e court as of 2/19. I have added court documents including a February 9, 2026 document filed by Mr. Frandsen. I had to crop the second page since the juror foreperson's signature is legible above the date and his name would be revealed.
