Convicted sex offender Amos Nuckols was standing by the traffic light near the Humboldt County jail this morning when I went to the Courthouse to check on today's cases; including his review hearing to confirm status of sex offender registration.
He was not in an orange jumpsuit since he is out of custody and on probation.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Gregory Kreis is Nuckol's attorney.
The hearing was continued to 2/9. Nuckols claims he has registered but did not bring proof to court. He was ordered to bring written proof to the next court hearing by Judge Lawrence Killoran. I checked Megan's Law and he is not listed.
