I verified the middle name of both men arrested last weekend during the protests. Gary Herbert Beckett and Joseph Roland Hough were both booked and then released on O.R On Vinelink, these two are the only ones without a booking photo.
It is the practice that Eureka Police Department releases their own booking photos. I don't know if they still take their own booking photos. Both these arrests were by EPD. Due to the Ninth Circuit ruling, I doubt EPD will release the booking photos, especially since both were released because these are misdemeanor charges.
Hough had a 2024 criminal threats case which was dismissed.
Beckett has a conviction in a 2021 traffic case. As for any other case, the rest are so old, no documents are available in e court.
