Humboldt Superior Court Presiding Judge Kelly Neel, Humboldt Superior Court Assistant Presiding Judge Timothy Canning and Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum all plan to run for re-election.
Any opponents have until March 6, 2026 to file paperwork.
California Governor Gavin Newsom's Office of Judicial Appointments has yet to make the temporary appointment for Humboldt Retired Judge Joyce Hinrich Department 6 position.
