A Mandatory Settlement Conference was held this afternoon in the Candice Knight and Eureka Townhouse Hospitality case with Judge Christopher Wilson.
The MSC is not being live-streamed because it is a confidential “in chambers” type of discussions.
Vanessa Negrete, the attorney for the Nathas, did not serve a Conference Statement as she required. Mr. David Nims, is Candice Knight's attorney.
Judge Kelly Neel granted Mr. Nim's motion to compel Magan and Alpesh Natha's depositions on Monday.
The Nathas have been a no show for their depositions twice.
Eureka Townhouse Hospitality is appealing a ruling from the State Labor Commission involving a former employee Candice Knight. The amount Eureka Townhouse Hospitality have been ordered to pay is 156,626.91.
The Nathas own and manage the Townhouse Motel, Quality Inn and Super 8.
1/12/21: There was a hearing scheduled today however that was vacated. The parties reached a confidential settlement in December.
