Governor Gavin Newsom said Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly will look at data and based on a four week projection decide if stay at home orders will be extended.
San Joaquin and Southern California will know tomorrow but Newsom says that region's order is "likely to be extended. The Greater Sacramento area could see restrictions ease on January 1 and the Bay Area could have the order lifted on Jan. 8 depending on ICU capacity.
