MNPD and FBI were warned about Warner and bombs in 2019

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Anthony Quinn Warner was "not on our radar" prior to the Nashville bombing on Christmas this year.

The Tennessean obtained a Metro Nashville Police Department report from August 2019. It shows that local and federal authorities were aware of alleged threats Warner had made. Officers went to Warner's girlfriend told MNPD that he was building bombs in his RV trailer at his residence. The police were also called by the woman's attorney.

Police officers went to Warner's house, knocked several times but got no answer.Officers saw no evidence of a crime and had no authority to enter his home or fenced property.

MNPD Nashville police forwarded the information about Warner to the FBI. The FBI checked and said they had no records on Warner.

Warner only had one prior arrest, for possession of marijuana years ago.
