As expected, Jeffry Tsarnas' jury trial was rescheduled for next month

Trial confirmation for Jeffry Tsarnas' hit and run case was scheduled for December 14. Jury trial scheduled for January 4 was vacated.

All jury trials scheduled for January 4 are being reset for trial assignment on January 22 and jury trial for January 25.  This is due to the emergency order signed by Presiding Judge Joyce Hinrichs and due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and details have been previously reported, several times.

Tsarnas withdrew his time waiver. He did not appear for today's hearing. Defense stated objection on record but "submitted" to Court.

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy DA Steven Steward appeared on the case today for the People. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Tsarnas' attorney.  Deputy R.J. Leohner appeared for her via Zoom today.
