Why should the County and taxpayers foot the bill for Karen Paz Dominguez? Why can't the Auditor's self appointed PR person and local attorney Eric Kirk represent her pro bono? He did so for Kim Bergel, including setting up a GoFund me account.
Is Ms. Wilson the go to lawyer for all disgruntled County employees? Jeffrey Blanck, Rory Kalin and now the Auditor.
Ms. Dominguez retained Ms. Day-Wilson according to a letter dated November 13, 2020. This was before the November 23, 2020 meeting and then she feigned surprise that she had to prep for that last minute meeting?
So Ms. Dominguez wants a check cut for a lawyer she chose to hire without going through the proper process?
Where is all that information that was promised by the Auditor at the last board meeting so the public would have transparency and direct access? Not through the auditor's "pet media". It should be available where all public can see the information and on the county website.
