New Best Dry Cleaners owner is the kind of business person we need in Eureka, former Launderland is now Speed Suds

 

I did this post two years ago. When Phil, the old owner finally sold the Best Dry Cleaners laundry part of the business at 7th and E, Eureka; I wanted to do an update.

Do I need to explain why it took so long? 

Today, I learned the former Launderland is no more. It has been cleaned up, no more transients, no trash and needles all over the ground and guess who is the new owner? Agustin Valdez who has renamed it Speed Suds.

Speed Suds does not offer free drying or wash and fold like 7th and E but the prices for both washers and dryers have been reduced by Valdez.

I hope the shiny new machines and cleanliness is maintained. The people who use it need to help the owner by making sure it isn't trashed and misused. Take a breakfrom your cell phone and do your part in keeping Eureka clean and safe. CSET could do daily patrols and to City of Eureka Mayor and Council, maybe a shout out at the next meeting to a positive business that has invested into this neighborhood.

7th and E is near Starbucks. Speed Suds is near Dutch Bros.
