Defense files motion to set aside information in Dr. Frank Fisher's case; jury trial will not proceed in May

 

Another local court case only I covered. As with most of my court cases, researching and developing original content.

Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for this case. Local law firm Janssen Malloy's senior partner, Mr. Patrik Griego, represents Dr. Fisher.

Today's Readiness Conference and jury trial scheduled for 5/18 were vacated. On 4/29, Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum granted Mr. Griego's motion to continue trial. 

Mr. Griego's motion to set aside information was continued to 6/16 and trial setting is scheduled on the same day.

Mr. Griego has subpoenaed records from Cal Poly Humboldt, Mad River Community Hospital, Open Door Community Health and DOJ.

Former Humboldt DA Investigator Alan Aubochon who is now with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force is the lead investigator for the Humboldt case.
