I was the one who reported first on HCSO being at Shannon Miranda's. In my first post, I was the only one who spoke with Shannon Miranda and a neighbor; Jennifer Raymond.
I am the only one who spoke to HCSO Lt. Jesse Taylor. The other media ran the press release, after that Lost Coast Outpost made a call on some letters which are posted all over this anonymous Facebook page which has been all over my feed in the past 24 hours.

I am not interested in a biased page by anonymous people who have one view and then run posts taking anonymous digs at others which are not vetted in a court of law.
I have received some tips about Facebook drama between the pro and anti Shannon Miranda contingent that I did not publish because it is not news. If it becomes relevant later; I will.
In fact, I turned something down about Chrisjenna Moore someone sent me because 1. It isn't relevant news to the Miranda Rescue investigation 2. News is not drama and fights between individuals 3. Not my job if someone posted something on Facebook and there maybe consequences 4. Contact a lawyer for advice; not me. 5. I need to be able to verify it is news and I make the determination what to publish since my name is on the site and platforms.
People can go to other local media and if they want. Let's see if they risk publishing something I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole because unlike them and the Humboldt drama queens,I do know the law.
The other local media won't get sued because just like their errors are ignored; the bullies and cowards in this town and all who benefit from their selective reporting do not target them. They also know other local media is ineffective. If I am wrong, prove it to me because the only constant attempts to silence, harass and prevent making money seem to be directed at me.
Gossip, smears and lies are on local media sites and Facebook page by anons and non anons. Of course, on the multiple anon Facebook pages and online toilet bowl forums such as Reddit who no one other than gossipy Humboldt takes seriously.
The bullies and cowards in this town, including the criminal justice system goes after those who don't have the money, the resources to hang in and fight the system. Even lawyers I like will defend for money. Doesn't mean they always win. There are so many people misusing the court system for personal agendas, especially with civil cases, who should be declared vexatious litigants.
On this anonymous FB page, look at the dates of most of the posts; they go back to 2018. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the obvious. This anon FB page shared Times Standard, Lost Coast Outpost and Kym Kemp in the recent posts. What original reporting have these local media outlets done on the Miranda's Rescue investigation?
There are people in Humboldt with a lot of time to waste, money to throw away ? and like to use words like defamation and slander. They have no clue about the law.
HCSO investigation is ongoing. It has not been completed or forwarded to the DA. I hope HCSO will issue a press release if and when they do so given the interest in this particular investigation.
I have been told there are other Facebook pages. I am not HCSO, I am not Shannon Miranda, I am not his lawyer. I do put out a lot of information on this blog that for free is available to anyone; including law enforcement and attorneys. Often I have information law enforcement and DA Investigators don't have.
This whole Chrisjenna Moore and Shannon Miranda drama is like a vampire sucking energy and life and I am fed up. Both Chrisjenna Moore and Shannon Miranda have money, supporters and can hire lawyers. People can spend all day going down the rabbit hole of Facebook and local gossip.
I am waiting to see what happens with the HCSO investigation. If DA files charges. If there are civil cases. I have other news. I need to make money. I need time for myself.
Unless there is a valid tip that you are willing to provide evidence and verify who you are. I do keep my sources confidential. There are exemptions where that does not apply, especially such as Jennifer Raymond and I explained why.
I have information about this investigation, about people involved in this Miranda Rescue soap opera that I am not going to publish because there is a place or time and there needs to be a reason to do so.
I don't know Shannon Miranda has hired or consulted with a lawyer; yet or if Shannon has seen this Facebook page.
The people behind this shouldn't have a problem with me highlighting the page since they are about the "truth" right?
Links have been provided to all previous coverage. In the future, they will only be provided to advertisers or subscribers on request. Others can search it on the blog for free with a feature on the sidebar.
Will all the locals so concerned about the First Amendnent, defamation, interference with an official ongoing investigation hold this Facebook page accountable?
I do not follow this page. It appeared on my Facebook feed in the past 24 hours, despite multiple attempts to remove it from my Facebook feed.
Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal has not responded to two emails on other topics since February 2025. I have not seen him or HCSO Undersheriff JD Braud at the Courthouse for days. The Humboldt County DA doesn't often respond but at least DA Stacey Eads is busy. This selective ignoring by elected officials is not Humboldt specific because both parties and government indulge in this kind of petty behavior. They should not collect a salary from taxpayers and go earn a living in private industry where this behavior also applies but it can be on their own dime.
Shannon Miranda has an open 2026 traffic case for two infractions VC 4000 (a) (1) and VC 40001 (a) with a pay or appear date of 6/1/26.
That is reporting from court records. Facts.
I already included Chrisjenna's court records. There is another person whose court records I have not posted yet who chimed in on my first Miranda post. Unlike that person's bias and personal insults because I covered a court case that person was embarassed about; I do have court records for that person. Haven't posted them yet because I am busy. Also, there has to be a reason to post them and this person can go mouthing off online; that isn't reason to do so until I have an opportunity to investigate further whether it was just a cheap shot to attack me and get attention via the Miranda Rescue posts or whether there is more to the attack and smear on me.
There is a lot of news to cover.
