Today, Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward dismissed Samantha Summers 2025 case and granted Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer's motion. Summers is represented by Deputy Conflict Counsel Zachary Curtis.

"I have attorneys include my articles in filings but today is the first time at the clerk's office I heard someone and refer to my article on alleged molestor Michael Davis as 'evidence' in a family law case. The declaration filed is public. However, I did not post on October 5, 2025. My article was on September 29, 2025 so that is an error in the filing. The family law case involves Davis' co-defendant Samantha Summers."
