I have previously reported on 19 year old Carlos Ariel Martinez-Gutierrez. He had a preliminary hearing scheduled on 7/10 in an existing case. He was arrested by Humboldt County Drug Task Force agent Alan Aubuchon for PC148 (a) resisting arrest, PC 261.5 (c) HS 11351, two counts of HS 11378, HS 11370.1(a), HS 11366 and HS 11351.
He was on supervised release and remained out of custody after his 7/10 preliminary hearing. Held to answer on Counts 1 and 2, not held to answer to Count 3. Arraignment on information on 7/24.
With this new arrest by another repeat offender, I may not neccessarily follow every hearing for this case and I am not covering the new case because it is a waste of time. He will probably get another plea. This is happening in more than just this case.
