64 year old Ernest Paul Gruetzmacher was arrested yesterday on a warrant by Eureka Police Department for PC 664/287(c)(2) attempted forcible oral copulation and PC 243.4(d) aggravated battery causing serious bodily injury. He posted bond. The arrest warrant was issued on July 8, 2024.
The alleged victim in this case was "institutionalized for medical treatment and was seriously disabled and medically incapacitated." Arraignment is on 8/29.
8/29: Conflict Counsel's office appointed, 10 day time waiver entered, bail $35,000, preliminary hearing scheduled for 9/26.
