Most civil lawsuits settle. I have been covering two lawsuits involving Mercer Fraser. This is an update on those two lawsuits.
On 7/15, there is a dismissal hearing scheduled in CV2201537 Mercer Fraser vs County of Humboldt.
After no resolution on in 4/9/24 CV2101690 Mercer Fraser vs T. Schneider Enterprises, Inc.breach of warranty lawsuit, a settlement was reached, june 2024 trial dates vacated and a dismissal hearing scheduled on 10/14/24.
When the County starts laying off employees citing the budget, when experienced employees quit because they are not waiting around to see if they have a job, you should thank the good ole boys of Humboldt County who keep suing each other and their buddy good ole boy Rex who snarks about everyone else but them
