Tribal Council meeting to discuss Zackery Brown's arrest

(Brown)

Zackery Edward Brown, vice-chair of the Trinidad Rancheria was arrested on July 1 and booked on the following charges:

Possession of more than 5,000 lbs. of dangerous fireworks (Health and Safety Code Section 12700(b)(4))Sell or deliver dangerous fireworks without a permit (Health and Safety Code Section 12676)Possession of dangerous fireworks without a permit (Health and Safety Code Section 12677)

Brown did not respond to my request for comment. I know he received and read my message.

I had reached out to Ms. Jacque Hostler-Carmesin, Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad Rancheria. She sent me the following response.

"The Rancheria does not have a comment at this time.  The Tribal Council will be meeting to discuss this matter."

At this time, a decision has not been made whether a press release will be issued.

Still no coverage from any other local media. Bear River Casino, take notes from Trinidad Rancheria.

This is how to be professional and respond to media inquiries.

In addition to BRC, those local law enforcement agencies, businesses, elected officials, organizations or  entities that are selective and unprofessional in who they respond show their lack of couth.

Thank you Trinidad Rancheria for your response.
