Review Time for Reopening Plans As Fast As One Business Day
More than 2,100 businesses have been certified to reopen by the Humboldt County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), with plan review and approval often completed in a single day.
All businesses cleared to reopen by state and local orders are required to submit a Business Reopening plan that outlines site-specific safety measures to limit COVID-19 transmission. For more information about the process or to learn how to submit a plan, visit humboldtgov.org/covidreopening or call 441-5000 for support.
The EOC encourages residents to support local businesses that have committed to protect the health and safety of both employees and customers. Look for the reopening certificate, which should be prominently displayed on each certified storefront. A list of certified businesses sorted by sector can be found at humboldtgov.org/covidcertified.
