Cory Fisher found guilty on all counts involving the boys, not guilty on all counts involving the inmates

Sentencing is scheduled for April 30. Angela Fisher sobbed as each count of guilty was read. John Doe #2 and Kris Wibbenhorst were stone faced, showing no emotion as the verdicts were read.

Fisher was found guilty of 9 counts ; thevictims were his stepsons and son. Counts 1 and 2 pertained to John Doe #1, Counts 4, 5, 6 and 7 John Doe #2 and Count 8 John Doe #3. The jury found the special allegation of multiple victims and continuous sexual abuse of a child true.

Count 9 was battery with great bodily injury on John Doe #2. Counts 10-13 not guilty verdict; these counts pertained to the inmates. Count 10 and 11 to James Doe #1.

After the verdict was read, the jurors were thanked by Judge Timothy Canning and they left. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads gave a silent nod to Angela Fisher.

After months of waiting for the case to go to trial, then a lengthy jury trial, Angela Fisher, her family and friends got to see Cory Fisher led away in cuffs.

While sexual abuse sentencing is complex, given the jury verdict and the jury finding the special allegations true, Cory Fisher faces life in prison.

Sheriff William Honsal, Lt. Kevin Miller, several bailiffs, HCSO staff and Eureka Police Detective Ron Harpham were in court for the sentencing.
