In addition to a motion for a new trial, the Public Defender has filed a motion to dismiss the 25 to life firearm enhancement.

In addition to a motion for a new trial which is scheduled for June 19, the Public Defender filed a motion on 6/8 to dismiss the 25 to life firearm enhancement in the Jon Goldberg csse. Both motions are scheduled on the same day as sentencing.

A statement of undisputed facts was also filed on 6/7. No responses by the People filed yet.

I was the first to report on the motion for new trial. In my last post, I also reported jury misconduct and prosecutorial misconduct are alleged by the Public Defender in the motion for a new trial.
