This post is especially for three people who took time out in the last 24 hours

Daily day to day continuances at Humboldt Superior Court are now par for the course, backlog of court minutes with 20 to 30 cases for me to check everyday is what has been happening for months. For months and years, I have explained the challenges and how I update the blog and what I post on Facebook.

There are people who read those explainations and helpful suggestions. They are also the same people who read me daily and regularly. Most important are my advertisers, contributors and those who invest in me and value my time. 

I have covered cases for months and years regularly and I prioritize now what new posts I do respecting my readers time and for challenges not created by me.

 Starting today, no more explainations. If you are not paying for my time; no questions, no requests. 

For free, if you cannot be bothered to read the explainations and the changes; that is not my problem.

If you chose to read random court coverage by other media hours, days weeks later after I have reported it; that is your choice. You are not a loyal or regular reader of mine because those who are know where to go first, they know if there isn't a new post why and they know that my coverage is unique and includes exclusives no one has for over 12 plus years. My loyal readers also trust when and how I cover court cases.

Just one example from today. I just did an update on Jake Combs retrial on 4/14 which was added to a previous post. I reported on Combs drug case first. And have not seen coverage on it before my August 2025 post or today.

When there is something significant to post and that may not be until the evidence part of the trial; I will do so with accurate information. There were many cases continued today and for the nth time. I am not rushing updates on them which will be added to previous posts.

I don't just cover Humboldt anymore. My readers from other places in California or the nation treat me well and support my work financially. 

I am working on options that are better for me and my advertisers and contributors. I am spending more time taking care of me and where I have a financial return.

Starting today, I will treat Humboldt exactly the way you treat me and have treated me for the past 12 plus years; many of you for the past 22 years.

I have a platform. I am effective. I have the numbers and I am confident that anyone who does not chose me or invest in me after this post is a plus and gain for me.

I want to thank the successful people, true supporters and those who value me but especially three people who took time out in the last 24 hours. You know who you are.
