On Friday, Nicole Bartlett's case was scheduled for preliminary hearing. Instead the case was dismissed by the People. The court minutes state no reason which is typical in Humboldt Superior Court.

I will follow up even though I have some guesses why based on covering local courts for 12 plus years and other court coverage for almost three decades.
Everyone is busy, especially the attorneys.
