DA charges Tristan Mitchell with 6 felonies; one special allegation involving John Doe, John Doe 1 and John Doe 2

 

I was the first to report about alleged molestor Tristan Mitchell's arrest. In that post, I referenced a Facebook profile and google searches and explained why I did not include them. When I verify that information properly; it will be added to the post.

What is verified by court records is that Mitchell has a Eureka address.

The Humboldt County District Attorney's Office filed a complaint today charging Mitchell with 6 felonies and a special allegation. Mitchell was arraignment this afternoon. There are three minor male victims; most of the counts are for John Doe 2.

Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran did not change the no bail custody status; Deputy DA Rebecca Buckley-Stein appeared on the case for arraignment; Public Defender Office appointed. Preliminary hearing is on 4/17.

4/13/26: Public Defender declares conflict.

4/15/26: Ms. Andrea Sullivan appointed. The preliminary hearing for 4/17 was vacated and rescheduled for 5/19.
