25 year old Cameron Kyle Christiansen was arrested yesterday on a Ramey warrant by HCSO Detective Shane Steele for two violations of PC 288(a) lewd or lascivious act with a minor and PC 289 (b) sexual penetration with a foreign object where the victim is incapable of giving consent because of a mental disorder or developmental or physical disability. Bail at booking is $95,000.
No criminal case in Humboldt Superior Court but he has a default judgement in a case against him filed by Navy Federal Credit Union.
4/20/26: The DA filed a complaint today charging Christiansen with 5 felonies. He was arraigned this afternoon. Senior Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Conflict Counsel's office was appointed, criminal protective order filed and served in court; bail set at $1,050,000 set by Retired Judge Joyce Hinrichs. OR bail is on 4/22; preliminary hearing on 4/30.
