I was the first one to report that First District Supervisor Rex Bohn was being investigated during my live coverage of a Board of Supervisors meeting.
Rex announced it himself so it wasn't some big deal. I already put in PRA right away and there is no new information that the agenda item for next week's Tuesday meeting revealed.
This Kramer investigation cost the County $15,991 paid from the liability fund and now the cost to the County will increase. Additional invoices are expected.
Lost Coast Outpost left out the only new piece of information which is online. More sloppy "reporting" from Lost Coast Craphouse on the one Friday they eked out a regurgitation of information already out there and couldn't even be bothered to add new information from an agenda item. LOCO was happy to do the County's bidding running the talking points when the County and Rex went after former auditor Karen Paz Dominguez. What's different now? No more County of Humboldt ads?
Nothing will happen to Rex. If there was justice, those who support him and keep voting him should pay for his poor behavior. Instead the taxpayers are stuck with Rex and his Board of Supervisor's salary.
Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell was censured, asked to step down as Board Chair. Rex should have to step down from committees such as RCRC he uses to schmooze and call it representing the County.
