Christopher Diven is a defendant; that did not stop me from being helpful to his family

I just received an email from Christopher Diven's father in law who is looking after his children. He lives in a California county that has online case acccess unlike Humboldt Superior Court. He read my coverage. Diven had a hearing today in all three cases. Diven's cases and preliminary hearing were continued by defense to 3/24. Court minutes state "defense research conflicts and seeking cell phone downloads."

I covered Diven since 2022.

I answered him, gave him the Humboldt County clerk, Humboldt County DA and Humboldt County Public Defender's Office phone numbers. This is not my job, I don't get paid for any of it. I have done it for locals too. I have done it from the families of defendants I don't like.

The selfish Humboldt repeat offenders, the criminals, the Humboldt haters, the Humboldt trolls, the Humboldt drama have tried to prevent me from helping people. They have made it difficult for me financially. They have affected my health. They are pathetic and someday, when they need my help again. I will tell them Rob McBeth's famous line, "lose my number."

I help a lot of people at the Courthouse, in person and I get emails from people related to victims and even defendants.

I don't respond to every email or message. I am under no obligation. With 20 to 30 cases a day which become 40 or 50 because some defendants have multiple cases, live coverage, regional and national coverage, there is never enough time in a day and none left. I do not respond to the selfish ones who don't read or the one reader I have never seen before who wants free updates one on one. Pay for a subscription. Those who persist in bothering me again find out promptly they have no access to my page.
