"Settlement discussions" happening but David Anderson case "likely to go to trial"

Trial confirmation for convicted human trafficker David Anderson was scheduled on December 2. Jury trial scheduled for December 14 was confirmed.

At the last hearing, Anderson's attorney, Michael Acosta asked for an offer from Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads to resolve the case. Deputy DA Whitney Timm appeared in court today for the People.

Mr. Acosta told Judge Canning that "settlement discussions" are happening but the case is "likely to go to trial."
