No resolution and Brandon Watson's jury trial will start on December 7. Watson was only willing to enter a plea to Count 2 and no other charges.
There have been numerous interventions and discussions. There has been previous coverage about the People and defense offers.
Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees wanted to clarify that the People did not make the 16 years, 8 month offer.
Judge Christopher Wilson said,"that was my mistake. " Yesterday, based on what was said by Judge Wilson in court, that is what was reported.
Judge Wilson clarified that this "was a suggested resolution both sides would contemplate."
