Records from DHHS subpoenaed in Opera Alley murder case


The preliminary hearing for Opera Alley murder suspect is scheduled for March 17. Also scheduled that day is a motion by Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke to exclude statements. The defense motion is opposed by Deputy District Attorney Adrian Kamada. There have been six continuances of the scheduled preliminary hearing for various reasons.



Yesterday as subpoena was filed requesting records from Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services. The party is listed as other.

Whited is charged with the murder of Brett Keiling and a special allegation that he used a deadly weapon; a club.
