At 5:15 today, Governor Gavin Newsom and state health officials are scheduled to provide an update on the state’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The update will be streamed at the @CAgovernor Twitter page and California Governor Facebook page.
Some information in the update has already been released via press releases. Governor Newsom thanked President Trump and Vice President Pence for field medical supplies. Told young people to stop partying on the beaches and take this seriously.
On Twitter, no response to AB5. On Facebook, no response when asked about no income, not being eligible for benefits yet having to pay rent, insurance and bills. No answer when asked when will NorCal get supplies, not just Bay area and SoCal. Increase in masks, hospital beds, trailers and hotel rooms but references to Riverside, LA and San Francisco don't help Humboldt.
