Arraignment for local attorney Michael Acosta and Sarah Carroll was continued to March 13. It was continued to March 27. That is the date there will be a hearing on the defendants' demurrer which only pertains to Count 1.
Both defendants filed the demurrer in court yesterday. Public Defender is doing a conflict check to see if they can represent Caroll.
Judge Lawrence Killoran, Judge Kelly Neel, Judge Christopher Wilson and Judge Kaleb Cockrum all disqualified themselves from the case.
First District Supervisor Rex Bohn was in court this afternoon. Several of Acosta's neighbors contacted him with complaints that led to the Humboldt County Drug Task investigation.

What's crazy about that is we are totally cool with all of our neighbors we put up with them partying until morning and banging around all night and even having to turn up the tv to block out hearing them making love.( which happens a lot and that window is right next to my sonswindow) but we have always just left it alone we don't have people over a hours of the night or anything like that people do come over to talk to michael and I mostly set up a time for them to come back that's why it's mostly short visits that they see those people don't even come into our house. Rex had a problem with my little brothers rv we told them they could park in front of our house for one night when the power was getting shut off and the rv ended up not being able to start we did everything we could for them and then they finally got it towed but that was not our fault it broke down at all and when they had moved it down the road the cops raided there rv and didn't arrest anyone and didn't tow it even though it wasn't registered. And no one had a driver's licence so they could have towed it and been done with the situation. And I have half a mind to make a complaint about rex and his ball field that cause some much more traffic in our neighborhood then normal and how every time there's a game people park in front of our house and take up the whole dame street even leave there barking dogs to bark for hours in front of my house one time some people even tried to block me in my driveway but I caught them. Not to mention the people that go to the ball park speed down my street going way to fast i have seen them going atleast 60 down the street. And my last complaint is to rex and his marijuana dealing grounds keeper his name is mike and him and his POS kids Shane and travis and there cousin whom lives in the apartments right there they do hella drugs they even go down to the park and do drugs in there cars cuz they can cuz there dad likes right there. But no one wants to complain about rex and his people who have been trashing up this neighborhood since they came here and the guy that stayed at the park before that was rex's nephew who did nothing but do drugs and play video games. But whatever rex you will be ther reason we get to recuse the da because of your involvement so far so just keep it up your making it so much easier for us to win.
ReplyDeleteJust one more thing rex or his grounds keeper let's bums have there tent up in the woods there I have heard that they have aloud a few different homeless people stay in the woods there which would be fine except that one of them was a guy that was obsessed with me and would not leave me alone and when I told the guy that worked/lived there he said he would deal with it but never did and that made it that much easier for the guy to be stalking me he ended up breaking my windshield because I told him to leave me alone and also stealing stuff from outside our house like tools and stuff and stealing recycling from the entire neighborhood. Which is stealing to. The other homeless guy they let camp in the woods he stole the recycling from everyone and also I pretty sure he was breaking into cars around here to but I can't say that forsure but it started when he first showed up and I saw a girl named jamie Rodgers at his grounds keepers trailer at the park today infact and that girl is known for doing home invasions and stealing safes from houses in arcata I think those people she robbed 300,000 dollars cash from I think there name was Kramer not sure if that's how it's spelled but whatever but she is deff. Someone that I don't want anywhere near my house but she is just sitting down there plotting on her next get down. So way to go rex for building a place for everyone to have fun at but it's really shity for the people that live around here and the playground sucks and there is no water fountain which is crazy to not have one at a park but whatever.
