Scott Joseph Crane was booked into the Humboldt County jail last night at 9:13 p.m. for PC 240, assault., PC 242 battery and violation of probation.
Bail is $20,000.
Crane is the one who attacked Max, the security guard at the Mckinleyville Safeway.
His last arrest was on October 4 at the 800 block of Eureka. by Officer M Paris.

On Monday, October 31, 2016 at about 6:30 p.m. Humboldt County Deputies responded to a report of an assault and battery that just occurred at the gazebo area on the 1500 block of City Center Rd in McKinleyville. Deputies spoke with two male victims and one female victim on scene. The victims stated they were speaking with the suspect, 46 year old Scott Joseph Crane. During the conversation Crane got upset and assaulted the two male victims. The female victim attempted to intervene at which point Crane assaulted her. Crane then left in an unknown direction. Each victim stated they wished to press charges against Crane.
Deputies located Crane in front of a residence on the 2100 block of McKinleyville Ave. Crane was arrested for assault/battery and violation of probation. He was taken to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and booked for the above listed charges. His bail was set at $20,000.
"His last arrest was on October 4 at the 800 block of Eureka. by Officer M Paris." What streets? Why arrested? How adjudicated? Why was he not arrested at the scene of this assault AND battery?
ReplyDeleteits because the witness left in an ambulance without giving a statement. indirect evidence is not viable in a court of law and therefore you cant arrest someone for indirect evidence
