Disgruntled client or neighborhood miscreant?

I told Times Standard's Robert Schaulis if I wrote about this, I would give him credit for bringing this to my attention. He overheard a remark from Deputy Public Defender David Celli this afternoon, I assume while covering the Shawn Kolpak preliminary hearing. Robert texted me a few minutes ago asking, "Hey John. You hear anything about a rock being thrown through the window of the Public Defender’s office and hitting Luke Brownfield? David Celli mentioned something about it offhand this afternoon. I reached out to EPD who confirmed there was an incident but that’s all. And I left a message with Luke."

I told Robert I did not because it was a busy day and I was in several courtrooms and following up on several court cases. I just went over to the Public Defender's Office and took these photos. The only window that is boarded up is the one on 4th street but I have no confirmation. I also reached out to Luke. In this neighborhood, it could just be one of the regular miscreants acting out.
