Submitted a PRA about a tip claiming there was a City of Eureka investigation into EPD Chief Stephens about the Elbik murder case which is currently in trial

I am currently covering the jury trial for homicide suspect Destinee Rhamy.

The victim in that case is Holland Renee Elbik.

I received a tip "that there was a City Hall investigation launched about Brian in regards to his conduct during the Elbik murder case investigation from emailed complaint back in Oct'25, have you heard anything?  Might be worth a FOIA"

The arresting agency is Eureka Police Department and Brian refers to current EPD Chief Brian Stephens.

I did send a PRA to the City of Eureka before publishing this post.

The City of Eureka responded to me at 11:56 saying, "No records exist."

I am glad I have the City of Eureka response in writing. Stay tuned.
