Gregory Kreis was appointed to at least two cases and he only got paid one County check from May to the present?

I made the following request to the County. The County only issued a copy on one check for the Maria Cuevas case. I don't know how long it takes for the County to pay private attorneys who are appointed.

Gregory Kreis was removed from the Cuevas case by Judge Ksenia Tsenin  but he did appear on the case before that ruling.  I know of at least one other case he is appointed on and that is the Christopher Kinnamon case. I was in court when both the Cuevas and Kinnamon were called. I am not linking all the posts on those two cases. Kinnamon was sentenced so that case is over.

They can be searched on the blog by those who are not regular readers. I have seen Kreis at the courthouse and outside courtrooms at least three or four times just in the last two months and I am not as often as usual. So besides the Cuevas and Kinnamon case, obviously Kreis was there for a reason. Whether it was for appointment or a private client, his ex wife has requested financial information in their family law case. I was told he is there on Mondays to see if he is getting appointed on cases.

On 10/3, Kreis was on the second floor at 8:51 while I was checking e court. If his buddy attorneys who endorsed him are having him do special appearances, those payments won't be through the County.

Also, his endorsers which included County employees like bailiffs, people from the Public Defender office and County Supervisor Rex Bohn may not care who foots the bill but due to Kreis' numerous conflicts, a Visiting Judge has to be assigned and there is extra work for court staff. It is my understanding the Judicial Council pays for some of those expenses and not the local court. Other local attorneys trying to build a law practice are not causing these extra expenses and they are not taxing the short staffing in Humbolt Superior Court.

Kreis has an office in the Gross Building in Eureka which is on 427 F Street. Rent for those offices is not cheap.
