Assault suspect Clayton Lasinski's pre trial hearing was continued to March 23. Jury trial is scheduled for June 1 but as stated in the last post, the People had a plea form.
The People already have a plea form. Defense made an offer but the plea had not been finalized. Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm confirmed Lasinski will plead at the next court date.
That date is 5/19 but with all court dates right now, I will confirm when I have access to court records. Sometimes there are audio issues but tech is working on options. They got this livestream up very quick.
At the last hearing, the defense offer of "11 years on the bus" was stated on the record. The defense offer is 9 years for PC 245 (b), one year consecutive for PC 245 (a), 1 year for PC 417 (a). Time for PC 664 and PC 69 would be served concurrently. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner is Lasinski's attorney.
