Intervention was scheduled for assault and kidnapping suspect Kevin Carns on March 2. Preliminary hearing scheduled for March 3 was vacated.
Carns' attorney Ms. Christina Allbright made a motion to continue based on needing time to review discovery. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads said "the People are understanding of the circumstances". The motion was granted by Judge Kaleb Cockrum.
Carns entered a 10 day time waiver. Intervention is on April 1; preliminary hearing is on April 7.
