Will the real Jane Doe #1 stand up?

The defense played video of Jane Doe's  first CAST interview this morning. There were technical difficulties with the second part so the entire video will be shown to the jurors next week.

Jurors also heard audio of an interview done by Detective Amber Cossetti after Jane Doe #1's second CAST interview.

Jurors know that Jane Doe #1 denied the allegations in the first CAST interview. Jane Doe #1 denied that any sexual intercourse between her and Chad Smith in the interview with Det. Amber Cosetti.

Jane Doe #1 did not mention sexual intercourse until the preliminary hearing and she did not mention sodomy until the jury trial.

New information was revealed via both the video and the interview.

In the first CAST interview, Jane Doe #1 is very upset and says, "I can't see my father." She tells the forensic interviewer that her mother, Amy Smith thinks something is going on between them because her mother saw them cuddling on the couch.

Regarding the letter/journal her mother found, Jane Doe #1 says, "I wrote he was doing it for two years. I lied about it."

She said she was angry with Chad Smith because he refused to let her stay at home alone. Chad and Amy Smith were going on an overnight trip and the children were going to stay with Amy Smith's parents.

Jane Doe's grandmother has been in court everyday and she smiled as she heard Jane Doe #1 say that she did not see eye to eye with her grandmother and said her grandparents were "annoying."

Before Amy Smith found the letter, she would yell at Chad Smith "Get out of my house." Jane Doe #1 said Amy Smith did this "if I gave my dad a goodnight hug". She said Amy Smith thought their relationship was unhealthy "because we were together all the time."

When Amy Smith found the letter/journal in her bedroom, she yelled at Chad Smith to get out of the house. He said, "Calm down Amy. I never done anything." Jane Doe #1 said Chad Smith wanted to calm down and he wanted talk to Amy Smith.

Jane Doe #1 told Det. Cosetti, "not all that I wrote in the letter was true" but she did say Chad Smith molested her. She said there was no sexual intercourse, just oral sex.

Jane Doe #1 told Det. Cosetti that Amy Smith found out about one Facebook account from her aunt. She found about the phone from her mom's friend. Are these the group of women Rick Smith was referring to as the "ambush?"

JaneDoe #1 said, "No one influenced her."

Contradicting what Jane Doe #2 said, Jane Doe #1 said that they were like sisters.

Jane Doe #1 asked Detective Cosetti if the case will go to trial and if Chad Smith would be in court. Detective Cosetti explained the basic process to her. Det. Cosetti also told her that sometimes cases resolve.

Jane Doe #1 said Chad Smith thought he was above the law.

Which Jane Doe #1 is telling the truth? The one at the first CAST interview? The second CAST interview? The interview with Det. Cosetti? The preliminary hearing? Or the jury trial?
