#HCSO deputies are assisting the CHP with a felony traffic stop in McKinleyville.
According to HCSO PIO Samantha Karges, deputies " are assisting CHP in what has been reported as an occupied stolen vehicle. We are still investigating as it appears to be a developing situation."
CHP PIO Paul Craft just told me that he spoke to one of the officers. "There was a report of a possible stolen vehicle. CHP and HCSO responded and contacted several people and determined it was not as reported. No one was arrested, only detained and released."
