Homeland Security investigated former Honolulu officer and convicted sex offender who was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison; ICE arrests Scottish illegal alien and convicted murderer after release from Florida prison

Former Honolulu Police Department officer Mason Jordan and convicted sex offender sentenced to 23 years in federal prison secretly recorded a child in his household.

ICE arrested Phillip Harkins, a convicted murderer and criminal illegal alien from Scotland, upon his release from the Florida Department of Corrections Aug. 18. Harkins was ordered removed by an immigration judge in August of 2002.

I am not always going to post on the blog first anymore

I am not always going to post on blog first, sometimes FB first, sometimes...I have local readers, California readers, national readers and I observe what content appeals on what platform. Have to keep you tuned.

I first posted the above on Facebook.

Facebook readers did not get any of the images included in this post. Nor did they get the rest of the post.

With a few exceptions on FB who are people who also read my blog; it is mostly blog readers who can't handle facts and court records about them or someone they know.

With a few exceptions in Humboldt, I saw the future of media over a decade ago and the influence of what is now considered new media.

Read the rest of the post or don't read it; people see who supports independent reporting and that I am someone who is trying to make a difference in this community and they also see the retaliation, the challenges and obstacles I face and they are Humboldt specific.

I have already made changes that are in my best interest financially and personally and will continue to make more soon.

Allan Dollison in Las Vegas with Derek Tran and reunites with his former boss who is 90 years old and still practicing law

(Allan Dollison and his wife with Derek Tran)

(Allan Dollison with his 90 year old former boss)

Retired Army Colonel, former Humboldt Deputy District Attorney and private attorney Allan Dollison now practices in LA. He sent me these photos from Las Vegas "at the annual Plaintiff attorney CONFAB." The first photo is Derek Tran,  "member of Congress and former Army Reservist." The second is his boss from 98-99. Allan's boss is 90 years old and still practicing law.

CA DOJ investigating OIS that occurred in San Diego yesterday

California Attorney General Rob Bonta's office just issued  a press release stating "the California Department of Justice (DOJ), pursuant to Assembly Bill 1506 (AB 1506), is investigating and will independently review an officer-involved shooting (OIS) that occurred in San Diego, California on Friday, August 29, 2025 at approximately 5:45 p.m. The OIS incident resulted in the death of one individual and involved personnel from the Escondido Police Department. "

Verizon is having a network issue all over CA according to local staff, not all customers are affected

Verizon is having a network issue all over California since a couple oh hours, according to local Verizon staff. No ETA when it will be fixed. I may not going to be able to respond or post. Some customers are not affected; only certain customers on the one line having issues. Verizon has multiple lines.

While I was still at the Verizon store, national readers gave feedback it was national. Verizon has many customers irate and rightfully because it is people keeping each other informed.

Pritesh Patel felony reduced to a misdemeanor; he was booked and released

(Ninth Circuit ruling to booking photos does not apply after a plea and being sentenced)

You can read more details of the charges, the plea, the court case and court documents in the May 28, 2025 post. In that previous post, I reported "Case dismissed against Binitaben Patel. Pritesh Patel entered a plea and was sentenced by Judge Timothy Canning. Pritesh Patel pleaded guilty to Count 1. Count 2 dismissed. Harvey reservation for Count 3  There is a restitution hearing for Pritesh Patel scheduled for 8/26 as well as a defense motion to reduce the felony to misdemeanor."

On 8/26, defense motion to reduce felony conviction to a misdemeanor for Pritesh Patel was granted after proof of restitution was provided. Patel was booked and released.

Mr. Michael Robinson is Patel's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor for the case.

Another local court case ignored by other local media. The Trump administration wants to expose fraud and abuse and low income people are always mentioned by right wing media and in tweets. The rules also apply to businessmen and women like Pritesh Patel.

Less than a month out of custody after being sentenced for a sex crime involving a minor and granted probation, Emmanuel Arcangel Moya-Rodriguez is back in custody for violation of probation

On July 23, 2025, Emmanuel Arcangel Moya-Rodriguez was sentenced for a sex crime involving a minor and released from custody. Yesterday, on August 29, he was booked into the Humboldt County jail by Probation for PC1203.2(a)(1) violation of probation.

Retired Judge Christopher Wilson sentenced Moya to two years in jail with execution of sentence suspended; he has 205 custody credits and was placed on two years probation. He is already out of custody with his sentence considered served.

Another repeat offender with a serious crime back in custody in a month. Nothing is going to happen with this VOP because it is Humboldt and CA. The DA's office is too busy demanding remand for petty theft and using up a jail bed to spend time on convicted criminals that prey on minors.

Dakota Parker arrested by HCSO for rape of an intoxicated person

Dakota Dale Parker arrested by HCSO yesterday for PC 261(a)(3) rape of an intoxicated person. Parker posted bond through Aladdin bail bonds.

Nathaniel LaPolla arrested by FBI on a confidential federal warrant

Nathaniel James LaPolla was arrested by the FBI yesterday on a confidential federal warrant for UST18SEC2252. It is a three day holiday weekend and it is a confidential warrant; still I have reached out to the FBI San Francisco contact who has previously responded to me about Humboldt County.

Ms. Pollan responded, "We are not providing comment at this time, however, there may be related publicly available documents via PACER." She confirmed that 18 U.S.C. §§ 2252(a)(4)(B) & (b)(2) Possession of Visual Depictions of Minors Engaging in Sexually Explicit Conduct.

LaPolla has one Humboldt Superior Court 2022 traffic case which was dismissed after proof of correction and one conviction in a 2017 traffic case.

"UST18SEC2252 is a shortened reference to 18 U.S. Code § 2252, which prohibits certain activities related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The full legal citation is 18 U.S.C. § 2252, and it covers the production, distribution, and possession of child pornography. " This is from Google.

Hillary Haskins arrested for attempted murder and domestic violence

44 year old Hillary Jeans Haskins was arrested by HCSO yesterday for PC 664/187(a) attempted murder and PC 273. 6(a) violating a protective order.

Stephen Paiment granted supervised release; will be on electronic monitoring, is not allowed to engage in any form of protest, makes statements in court, his criminal history and other exclusive details revealed in court today

Exclusive details from Stephen Paiment's OR bail hearing that just got done two minutes ago.

It was a close call. Judge Kelly Neel asked many questions, Deputy DA Ian Harris provided some details which included Paiment's prior criminal record.

Paiment spoke in court and I am not sure why Deputy Public Defender Ryan McClurg did not stop him. Paiment is obsessed with Eureka Police Department, specifically Officer Jayme Clark.

In May 2025, I reported that Officer Clark was leaving to go to work with the Cal Poly Humboldt Police Department. I heard she is or has already returned to EPD.

No other media was in court.

US DOT terminates 12 grants; the $679 million includes funds associated with the Humboldt Bay Heavy Lift Marine Terminal project

Early this morning, the Harbor District received communications from the US Department of Transportation.  The Federal government has withdrawn/terminated 12 grants totaling $679 million.  This includes the PIDP and INFRA grants associated with the Humboldt Bay Heavy Lift Marine Terminal project.  The communications indicate that our project is inconsistent with Federal priorities, including support for wind projects, the installation of solar panels, inclusion of EV charging equipment, and “support of society-wide decarbonization.”

New Deputy PD Ehvan Schectman scores a win in his first jury trial and it is also partial vindication for Ernest Choate

(Choate has been convicted by a jury and the Ninth Circuit ruling no longer applies to his booking photo)

I did this post on Ernest Choate's case two days ago. Unless you are an advertiser, contributor or subscriber, you can read the link to the previous post for context and background. There are at least 10 other cases from today that I am working on right now and all day.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/08/a-man-currently-in-trial-and-struggling.html?m=1

Yesterday, Judge Lawrence Killoran granted Deputy Public Defender Ehvan Schectman's motion for a directed verdict and he was acquitted on Count 2. Deputy Trent Timm is the prosecutor. Minutes are not up from today so I will update, probably next week, on what happened with the remaining two petty theft counts.

A directed verdict is a ruling entered by a trial judge after determining that there is no legally sufficient evidentiary basis for a reasonable jury to reach a different conclusion.

The trial court may grant a directed verdict either sua sponte or upon a motion by either party.  A directed verdict may be granted at any time, but usually occurs after at least one party has been fully heard.

Closing arguments concluded today. Jury deliberating. Note from jurors around 2:25.

3:12 p.m. Guilty verdict 1 & 3 petty theft.

Remanded until sentencing on 9/4. "This is bullshit," he said as bailiffs cuffed him. Choate told his attorney his stuff was outside the courthouse.

BFD, Trent Timm and the DA's office won a case for two petty thefts. I am for prosecuting property crime but I am also not going to give kudos to the DA for this case which was a waste of court resources and the DA's office should have worked harder on a plea deal.

Trent Timm, next time you actually get justice for this community and prosecute a successful case against a Daryl Jones or a Gary Lee Bullock, maybe you can brag to a judge how "cool" you are. Trent Timm said this to Judge Kaleb Cockrum as he was leaving yesterday for the day.

Mr. Timm and I didn't speak for days after the Tim Smith case. I take back the compliment I gave Trent Timm in the last Choate post.

Choate was acquitted on one count; found guilty of two others by jurors.

We have people with multiple violations of protective orders and other more serious crimes out on the streets who are granted diversion. And this is what the DA's office focuses their time and efforts on?

DA Stacey Eads, several Deputy District Attorneys and court staff were in court for a verdict on two petty theft counts? They don't have work to do on a Friday afternoon?

If a certain DA employee wants to post on my FB page attacking me, 1. Read the post before commenting. 2. In the past, I was too busy to note when you posted but this time I noted the time and if it was while you were working and being paid by the taxpayers, not only are you lazy  but you misleading the public by not revealing who you are 3. Unlike you, I am multi tasking and not sitting collecting a government paycheck with time to waste during business hours on a Friday.

If Judge Canning's week was not busy enough with a high profile criminal case, the Providence lawsuit today, there is another eminent domain case filed by the State of CA against Green Diamond

I don't know if other local media will report on this lawsuit. I doubt it because it involves the good ole boys but it is the State of California.

The rest of the media are in court for the Providence lawsuit this morning. There is not much to report in that lawsuit and I have already posted court documents before this hearing on several developments.

Today was the first hearing and a case management conference in an eminent domain lawsuit filed on 3/6/25 by the State of California against Green Diamond. Mr. Hunter Collins is listed as attorney for State of California. Green Diamond does not even have an attorney listed in e court.

Alberto Iskra arrested by EPD for sexual battery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, statutory rape, sodomy and forcible rape

22 year old Alberto James Iskra was arrested by Eureka Police Department on a Ramey warrant yesterday for PC 243.4(a) sexual battery, PC 207(a) kidnapping, PC 236 false imprisonment , PC 286(b)(1) sodomy, PC 261.5(c) statutory rape  and PC 261 (a)(2) rape by force or fear. Bail at booking is $300,000.

Iskra has a 2023 criminal case in which he was granted diversion;  the case was dismissed by DA on 10/14/24 for successful completion.

ICE arrested convicted sex offender, gang member with three prior removals living in a San Diego child daycare operated by his wife who is a DACA recipient

On August 27 "U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Ezequiel Cruz-Rodriguez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and convicted child sex offender with an extensive history of criminal behavior and three prior removals from the U.S. This criminal illegal alien, a documented member of the Logan Heights gang, was living with his wife, a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient who operates an in-home daycare."

According to Homeland Security, " his criminal record includes convictions for sex offenses involving a child under 14, sexual battery, illegal possession of a firearm, driving under the influence, and robbery."

The ICE press release further states, “It is SICKENING to think this pedophile criminal illegal alien was residing inside the home where a daycare operates and hiding out in a sanctuary city,” said a Senior DHS Official. “Thanks to the brave work of our ICE law enforcement officers, this criminal illegal alien, convicted pedophile, and known Logan Heights gang member—will no longer be able to prey on children inside a daycare. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, sickos like this will not walk free in the U.S.”

Ezequiel Cruz-Rodriguez was first issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge and was removed on Augst 23, 1996. He was removed a second time on October 28, 2003. He was then removed a third time on December 14, 2012.

He illegally re-entered the U.S. at unknown date and time.

You can indict a ham sandwich but DC grand jury says no to a felony charge for a veggie Subway sandwich

Sandwich "felon" Sean Dunn is now just "sandwich suspect."

A grand jury in Washington, D.C. refused to indict former Department of Justice employee Dunn on a felony  charge for throwing a sandwich at a federal officer in August 2025. Prosecutors filed a misdemeanor charge for simple assault against Dunn.

This is the link to the August 13 post.

CA AG Rob Bonta issues statement and releases copy of motion ahead of tomorrow’s hearing in defense of emergency abortion care in Humboldt County

California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a statement ahead of tomorrow’s hearing in People of the State of California v. St. Joseph Health Northern California.

I was the only one to include declaration from Bishop Robert Vasa in my ongoing coverage.

I will add an update from tomorrow's hearing which will most likely be court minutes. The basic arguments are alrwady in court documents posted in prior coverage in the last post, I reported St. Joe's attorney withdrew as counsel. On Friday, the rest of the media can cover the hearing but I will be covering cases with new information.

Civil attorneys know that there will most likely this case will drag on for months and go to trial; especially with 2026 elections.

With two alleged victims, facing multiple life sentences, alleged molestor Robert Johnson should be grateful for the plea deal of 18 years to life without waiving custody credits

(2024 booking photo before Ninth Circuit ruling)

Yesterday, at Readiness Conference, alleged molestor Robert Johnson resolved his case with a plea, just a couple of days before his jury trial was scheduled to start and avoided a worse sentence.

Judge Steven Steward took the plea and advised Johnson of sexually violent predator statutes and requirements.

Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced on 9/19. Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for the case. Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Johnson's attorney.

I was in the courtroom yesterday and watched Ms. Schaffer and Ms. Sullivan have private discussions about the plea and Ms. Sullivan speak with Johnson.

Johnson ended up getting a resolution of 18 years to life. With allegations from two separate victims, and facing multiple life sentences; Johnson should consider himself lucky he got Ms. Sullivan court appointed to represent him.

Johnson cannot post bail. Information amended to add Count 9 PC 288.5 (a) continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 as a felony. Johnson has to register as a sex offender and waived his right to appeal. Johnson did not waive custody credits. More details in court minutes.

Ryan Greenwood arrested by EPD for using a minor in child pornography; Kaiti McCaw arrested for assault with a stun gun and domestic violence

Ryan Greenwood arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday on a Ramey warrant for PC 311.11(c)(1) which is using or coercing a minor to appear in child pornography. Greenwood has 17 traffic cases; checked most and every single case has bail forfeiture.

Eva Tsenin hires Rebecca Linkous for her DUI case

I reported on Eva Tsenin's DUI arrest by CHP in April.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/04/eva-denise-tsenin-arrested-for-dui-and.html?m=1

Her arraignment on 8/19 was continued to 8/27 so her attorney, Ms. Rebecca Linkous, who she has hired could make a court appearance. Deputy District Attorney Matt Dobie is the prosecutor for the case. On 8/27, she was arraigned. Trial setting is on 10/2.

Read for yourself the disciplinary charges filed by the State Bar against Callie Buck and potential consequences and sanctions depending on the outcome

A man currently in trial and struggling himself and he showed me more decency today than some trolls and selfish people who have emailed me, snarked on Facebook during an extremely busy and stressful week

I recognize the name from the frequency on the jail log. I recognize him from around town. I recognize many of the jurors.

I know his name appears frequently on the jail log. I am not condoning his behavior or his several criminal court cases but I don't know his entire story. What I can tell from seeing him around the courthouse and town that unlike some repeat offenders; here is someone shows a glimmer of hope to break the cycle with a combination of some consequences and programs designed to help available through the criminal justice system, maybe he could change his life around?

Fortunately for him, the prosecutor and judge in his trial are both law and order but also decent men, husbands and fathers who can discern and make that judgement. This is a case that Ms. Andrea Sullivan or Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian's arguments would have been watching even though the cases are misdemeanors. I don't know his attorney, who is a recent hire at the Public Defender's office and is from Santa Cruz. I just met him today after the post and introduced myself.

To understand Ernest Choate and what led him to where he is today; one has to have experienced the evil and destructive side of Humboldt that tears people down.

DA charges Stephen Paiment with arson, vandalism and littering on public and private property

Stephen Paiment was arrested on August 23 by Eureka Police Department. I posted live. The photos are from the video provided to me by Shannon Cortez.

This previous post has live reporting and all press releases.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/08/humboldt-bay-fire-responds-to-fire-in.html?m=1

The DA filed three charges and Paiment is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon. He has been in custody for 4 days. Paiment is charged with Count 1 PC 451 (d) arson as a felony; Count 2 PC 594 (b) 2 vandalism as a misdemeanor and Count 3 PC 374.4 (a) littering on public/private property.

Retired Judge John Feeney  set bail at $45,000; appointed the Public Defender's office to represent Paiment. OR bail is on 8/29; preliminary hearing is on  9/9/25. Paiment sat quietly until his case was called. There was no acting out and no issues at his arraignment.

In addition to this 2025 arrest , 15 prior cases come up for Paiment in Humboldt e court search results; two are duplicate listings. Some are family law cases.

My name is Kyle Edgar Harris. Call the cops. You will have to spend the night at...Fuck you"

Another loser in Eureka, screaming at night while families and working people try to sleep; same problem areas and houses. People screaming somewhere between the 300 block of Hillsdale and Clark again.

This has been going on since my last post on August 17.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/08/once-again-hillsdale-near-e-and-public.html?m=1

9:38: Male voice, "My name is Kyle Edgar Harris. Call the cops. You will have to spend the night at...Fuck you."

9:44 p.m. A woman, "what did I do?"

The guy had been yelling, went on and on for 25 minutes before I called EPD and is still screaming. I am not going to document all his monotonous rantings. Based on the conversation, I called the Eureka Police non emergency number, gave them the location and requested when an officer was available, if they could check on the woman and the ruckus "Kyle" was  causing.

It is bad enough he is drunk but his vocabulary consists of only one word, "Fuck." Maybe he is reacting to the sound of his nasally voice which is annoying as "fuck." He obviously doesn't have a job and dgaf that others do and need to sleep.

10:22: EPD must have arrived because "Kyle" finally stopped saying, "Fuck."

Humboldt Superior Court website MIA?

At 8:17 went to check tomorrow's calendar. No website showed up in search results for Humboldt Superior Court. I tried searching court calendars directly. You can access self help, locations and a few pages but not the calendars and the main page.

There is no staff at the information window anymore. Most people do not know how courts work. You can find the page if you put in effort.

8/29/25: and the website still will not show up. Told Court tech who said he would look "into it"; he is the same tech who fixed the court alpha calendar not displaying on weekends.

Motion to continue Danielle Durand and Deunn Willis' preliminary hearing

Besides being a couple, robbery suspect Danielle Durand and murder suspect Deunn Willis, are also co-defendants. The preliminary hearing for their cases is scheduled for 8/28. Today, I learned of a last minute motion to continue scheduled tomorrow morning. E court and the clerk did not have information on who filed the motion.

Both have retained private attorneys. Mr. Michael Robin represents Durand. Her co-defendant and boyfriend Deunn Willis is represented by Mr. Gregory Kreis. Different Deputy DAs have appeared on the case.

This cartoon court docket is more efficient than the "As The Humboldt Superior Court Turns"; while Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees apologized today for the delay in getting discovery to defense in the Daryl Jones' case, it is Gavin Newsom, Jerry Brown, the useless bureaucratic CA Judicial Council and local court admin and local rules that have failed the public for decades

The latest episode of "As Humboldt Superior Court Turns" and my latest post on  "how to win friends and influence people in Humboldt."

The influence people part does happen and I am not giving examples of results and effectiveness; again. I don't need to; those who will take umbrage know it is true. Who are they? Just look at the glares and the anon gossip and smears behind my back and online.

If you didn't get the sarcasm of "how to win friends", just look for the glares, especially at the courthouse, and anon gossip behind my back and online.

I do have friends and supporters here but after they have been harassed by the local cabal and Humboldt mean girls and guys , who they are is none of your business.

For those community members grumbling yesterday in the audience because of the delays in the Daryl Jones' case; you have tunnel vision.  Get out of your self absorbed world.

You experienced for a couple of hours what others live with daily on the second floor of the courthouse. Here's a 🎻 for your minor "inconvenience."

If the public is unhappy with the court backlog and delays, vote for someone else than Gavin Newsom who is too busy auditioning for his presidential campaign and the failed career politicians who have made California a bureaucratic nightmare and the land of lawlessness and coddling criminals and entrenched systems with no accountability.

While Humboldt Deputy District Attorney apologized today for the delay in getting discovery to defense in the Daryl Jones' case, it is Gavin Newsom, Jerry Brown, the useless bureaucratic CA Judicial Council and local court admin and local rules that have failed the public for decades.

64 calls to North Point Consulting, five different phone numbers on a phone log provided to APD stated in court on second day of Daryl Jones preliminary hearing

(Daryl Jones with his attorney. Photo: John Chiv)

(Daryl Jones: Photo John Chiv)

**Court coverage of this case has graphic language due to nature of alleged charges. Your choice to read beyond this point**

**The media request says I cannot take photos of victims, witnesses or court staff. It says nothing about attorneys or DA staff or other media. Jones is being brought in before courtroom opens so it makes it further difficult to take photos because he is already seated. I have cropped Zoom screen to meet Judge Canning's conditions but pictured on that Zoom screen are Deputy DA Rees, DA InvestigatorMartin  Morris, Ms. O'Connell and Jones, media and DA Victim Witness Advocate M.H. I spoke with DA Morris and DA Victim Witness Advocate M.H. before posting this photo. For now, I am only using the DA Victim Witness Advocate's initials even though her name maybe in a future press release.

Day 2 of terroristic and criminal threat suspect Daryl Jones' preliminary hearing started with testimony from Arcata Police Officer Jaime Lewallen who previously worked with HCSO and Yurok Tribal Police Department. You can tell Officer Lewallen's 30 plus years of law enforcement from her testimony.

64 calls from five different phone numbers were made to North Point Consulting. On February 28, APD Officer Lewallen spoke with Tristen Draper.

"What up bitch? You know who this is; look outside." Male voice on February 28 was the same caller who called North Point Consulting on February 21.

Also on the same day Officer Lewallen responded to North Point Consulting Group,  later she was dispatched to Arcata High School spoke with Michelle Camilli.

"What would you do if I came over and beat your ass?" said the caller. Again, the name "Jeremiah" used by male caller.

Humboldt Brews received 9 calls in one hour. Officer Lewalken testified male caller told Amanda Arthington, "he wanted to murder her, no need to call the cops, he would follow her home."

Callie Buck gets three year probation, 52 weeks of community service and has to enroll in a batterer's intervention program

(2025 booking photo after plea and sentencing in her latest 2025 case)

35 year old Callie Buck resolved two of her 2025 cases with a guilty plea to PC 273.6 (a) disobeying a court order in CR2501701 at trial confirmation on 8/25/25 and was sentenced by Retired Judge John Feeney to three years probation. She is required to complete 25 hours of community service and enroll in a batterer's intervention program and comply with protective court order. CR2501602 was dismissed by the People.

There is a review hearing and PPR report on 12/12/25. This is my last update on these two cases.

Testimony on the first day of Daryl Jones' preliminary hearing focuses on several locations, common 707 number and alleged death threats made by a caller, so far only APD investigation identifies Jones by name as a suspect

Terroristic and criminal threats suspect Daryl Jones was already seated when the courtroom opened and due to the conditions granted about taking photos and where I was seated, this photo is the best I could take. I went through a lot to get this photos; tomorrow I will see if I can get a better one. Testimony on the first day of Daryl Jones' preliminary hearing focuses on several locations, common 707 number and alleged death threats made by a caller, so far only APD investigation identifies Jones by name as a suspect.

Four bailiffs just ran into Courtroom 1

(Photo: John Chiv)

Four bailiffs just ran into Courtroom 1 including Sgt. Josh Comer. Through the door, it was an inmate yelling at the judge but later I found out there were four other inmates and issues at arraignment. I did not want to go inside the Courtroom as the situation is already tense and I am waiting for the Daryl Jones preliminary hearing to start. I left the area near Courtroom 1. The bailiffs and Sgt. Comer returned to their stations shortly. Today is just one of those extra stressful days at the Courthouse.
